^firelite-photo asked for a more emote-style emote (a smiley instead of an object), and this is what I got. I did the best I could with the flames, spend a long time with the flames, and I sorta like the flames ;) maybe they don't have that clear-cut realism like the better pixel artists manage, but the cartoon-y look is sometimes better for emotes. :D

I finally figured out how to get rid of the quality loss thing when saving *.gifs, I feel so stupid cause it's so easy I can't believe I missed it all this time. Just goes to show that you learn something new every day. (like pushing buttons)

won't work if you type in the code, well...it will, but you'll get this: :firelite-photo: , which is nice, but not the same thing.

I agree. The cartoon look is better for emotes. If it wasn't that way it'd look somewhat....eh, cheap.

I, for one, like the cartoon-y look - I don't think it would look quite /right/ if it weren't cartoony like this. And of cousre, another fabulous pixel by you.

I definitely like this better than the other! Only thing I see I might change is that the fire seems to stop moving when s/he takes the picture... I mean, it's only about a millisecond, so whether you change it is up to you... and maybe I'm seeing things, anyway. Otherwise, looks great!
