this is an emote for my cyber-husband (which means it's not real :whisper: ) =ipholio :aww: he wanted a poof emote, and bugged me repeatedly, even though he's good at emotes himself :P that's what happens when you tie the cyber knot :no:

well, I'm still sorta working on this, but I wanted to be able to use the thumb in chat so I could bug more people to make recomendations :lol: I'm not setting this at advanced critique because generally I'm making it according to ipholio's description, though you can give a few pointers if you want, and I'll see if he likes the idea.

I know I'll get a few people commenting about the smile; that's something I'm working on :hmm: I've never done smiles too well, some might perhaps (maybe) notice I hardly ever have more than a half smile in my emotes, like in :ahoy:

Another thing people've pointed out is the smoke. Since poofing is more of an imploding sensation vs. exploding, the smoke goes inwards rather than fading away. Though I'm still messing with the speed and effect of it, and I'd like to mention I'm using one of =budgieishere's emotes as a reference (as ipholio specifically said he liked the way it went).

I think it looks awesome like it is now. The smilie looks a lot like :w00t: so I don't think you're bad at smiles.

Did you try an evil-eye sort of thing with a half smile? Sort of a smug and dangerous glare. If that makes any sense.

I know what you mean. :mwahaha: but it's supposed to be a fake looking smile, or smug in the least. But I'll try it out and see how it looks.

oh, never fret. I wouldn't want to annoy you with them, i just thought i'd toss them your way as they come along. If I had any ability or know-how i'd be trying to do them myself, but i'm admittedly lady. :D
